Quality Control:

Prime Systems (China Factory) – Quality Control Process for Stretch Wrap Machines

Objective:To ensure every stretch wrap machine manufactured at Prime Systems meets international standards for performance, safety, and reliability through a rigorous quality control (QC) process.

 

1. Incoming Material Inspection

Purpose:Verify that all components and raw materials meet required specifications before entering production.

Process:

Inspect mechanical parts, electronic components, motors, sensors, and control panels.

Check for supplier compliance certificates and dimensional accuracy.

Use calibrated instruments for measurements (e.g., calipers, micrometers, multimeters).

Record all results in the Incoming Inspection Log.

Reject and quarantine any non-conforming items.

 

2. In-Process Quality Control

Purpose:Ensure quality at each step of the assembly process.

Process:

Visual inspection after each assembly stage.

Torque checks on bolts and fasteners using calibrated torque wrenches.

Electrical wiring continuity and insulation checks.

Real-time QC checklist for assembly technicians.

Team leaders conduct random audits daily.

 

3. Pre-Testing and Calibration

Purpose:Verify all machine parameters are within design tolerances before full functional testing.

Process:

Calibrate load cells, sensors, tension control, and film delivery systems.

4. Final Functional Testing
